Vera’s Birth Story

10:30pm – Contractions are roughly 7 minutes apart. I’m tired and just want to sleep. Chris gets home and I hear him downstairs getting himself something to drink. [...] he hadn’t eaten since lunch and asked if I wanted to go back downstairs with him. I went down the stairs and had to stop for a contraction halfway down and I thought to myself “yep, this is real labor.“
